GAN 356X v2, 3x3 Magnetic Speed Cube Magic Cube 356 X ver. 2020 (Stickerless)

Our daughter is really getting into competitive Rubik’s cube and this magnetic speed cube is a must. She improved her time by 5 seconds with this speed cube!

Super product

My son is facinated by these and it’s like his fidget. He has broken a few cheaper ones but this one he loves and when not using he keeps in its case. Super smooth motions and just feels and moves like you would expect a quality rubix to do.

Love it. Much better than my $13 cube

I have been playing around with magnet strengths and tension settings to trying find my favorite. Since I typically solve White-Down only, I have setup Medium magnets on D, Strong along E, and Weak on U. My Ao100 has pushed down from 25 to 23 and I am getting a lot more Sub-20 solves than I used to. My favorite thing though is probably how quiet the cube is compared to my previous main (Spring-Swapped WeiLong GTS2M). Not a fan (yet?) of using this for One-Hand solving, but maybe with a different magnet/tension setup I would be. Wish they included a blank White cap so I could use it for 3BLD in competition without needed to scrub off the logo.

This is the best cube I have so far found and would recommend it to anyone the only thing I would say is maybe putting something telling people how to remove the extra magnets, from the plastic case because I accidentally did it wrong and broke one of the holes that hold it, but that is my fault so the product is still a great buy.

Fun to play with

I will begin by saying I am enjoying this cube. Its fast, the magnets are decent (I like strong magnets, and while these arent as strong as Im used to, theyre good). Overall, it is a good cube! So then, why the three stars? When I received the cube, it was packaged nicely and included a number of things within the box. I was excited to get started cubing with it. I unwrap the cube and immediately start using it. Not a second after I start mixing it do I feel like something is wrong. The plastic is rough, not smooth as I had expected. Inspecting the surface I see LOADS of scratches on almost every face of the cube. I = wouldnt say Im pissed, but considering the amount of money I spent on this cube I am extremely disappointed by the lack of quality on the surface of the cube. Its honestly like someone stored it in a bag of scrap metal, let it bounce around for a day, and then packaged it to be sent off. I was looking forward to this cube, but with the ratio of money-spent to quality, I was very disappointed. I will not be buying a GAN again.

This cube is good for people who are at the point where they are still pretty slow at the rubix cubr but want a faster one. Or if you just want a cheap and quick cube.
