Greater than one weekAfter using a Forerunner 35 for a couple of years, I was so excited to upgrade to the 245 Music. Despite the features being perfect for what I need as a serious runner/cyclist, it has been a nightmare and a total waste of money as I am now about to be on my third 245 in just over a year. The first 245 music I had got white pixels on the screen. I went through the exchange process, UPS lost it, and then Garmin employees blamed it on me and refused to send me the watch anyway despite photo proof that it really was broken. I was out a watch, so I decided to replace it with the less expensive 245 non-music since I liked the features and hardly used the music aspect. Its been less than a year, and this one blocked synced custom workouts to it, refused to sync with my computer or update the desktop version of Garmin Connect with my stats and I had to do a hard reset every 1-2 days. I went through a long process of getting it exchanged with Garmin employees acting like it was something I WAS doing wrong until they finally understood I had nothing to do with this issue. Its been 3 days since my broken watch was confirmed delivered by UPS at their facility and they havent processed that its even there so Im wondering if it was lost again and Ill have lost yet another watch in their exchange program. They have the worst customer service and I wish I could go back in time and NOT get another 245. Save yourself the trouble, try a different Garmin model! I never had problems with my 35.

> 3 dayI moved to Garmin after one too may Fitbit tracking failures, wanting to get GPS on my wrist and trust that it will work. I researched extensively and had settled on Garmin - but which one? The Forerunner 245/645/945 lines offer lots of features, and I finally decided to pull the trigger at the San Francisco Marathon Expo where I could examine the device in person. The 245 size is like any normal watch, and the rep was helpful in answering my questions -and then I made a $50 decision I would not recommend - going with the 245 Music instead of the standard 245. I had done research about getting my regular rotation of podcasts onto the watch - and while there are some apps offering the service (even Spotify with a limited library), ultimately its not too hard to load songs or podcasts directly from Music on my Macbook via the Garmin Express app. Imagining running without carrying my iPhone was exhilarting... a small but significant simplification.

> 3 dayCumplo tres meses usando a diario el reloj. Es el primer Garmin que tengo, es maravilloso para programar los entrenamientos. La herramienta de PacerPro me ha permitido planificar de manera más precisa mis carreras. La herramienta de música ha funcionado sin problema, se emparejan las playlist desde la cuenta de Spotify y se descargan fácilmente.

> 3 dayIve had this watch for a few weeks and it more then meets expectations. I had the Vivoactive4, and although a good watch, it had to be charged multiple times a week. The Forerunner is charged a couple of times per week. I use the watch to log gym strength workouts and runs and it works great so far. I purchased a bike along with the Garmin Sensor and Im able to track stats with the bike widget real time. Then post workout via Garmin Connect. I would definitely recommend this watch for its price as well as features.

> 3 dayThe spotify app to synch to this watch didnt work until completely removing and reinstalling and despite all the testimonies as to that fact and the livid reviews (see them all in the IQ Connect store) apparently neither Garmin or Spotify is doing much about it to make the installation easy and trouble free. Initially the spotify app didnt work at all. Since the Garmin support store wasnt open, I found a few helpful articles and videos on it. I ended up doing a hard reset on the watch and reinstalling everything. By the time it was up and running - about 2 hours later it worked well. The setup should be much easier and far less time consuming...Warning when first synching the music - wait a while to see progress. It seems to be frozen but then will kick in and when it does it transfers relatively quickly.
