Garmin 010-12563-02 Edge Mountain Bike Mount, Black

Does a good job of keeping your edge device inboard and away from harm.

Works great on and mtb to get the garmin over your stem area. I would definitely get one of these for any mtb riding if you want the GPS over the stem.

Hält mein Explore sehr gut fest, ist super verarbeitet und mit eine wenig ddrehen kann eine gute Position (nach Wunsch) für das Gerät gefunden werden. Nicht ganz so günstig, aber wie sagte man jemand: Da wackelt nix!

This mount works very well. It holds the Garmin very securely. It is listed as a mountain bike mount but I think it would work on any bike that has handlebars. It can be rotated to hold the Garmin at the top of the stem (as I have done) or down near the middle of the stem. It can be mounted on either side of the stem. On older Garmin devices, the connecter tabs are at the 9 and 3 oclock positions and the mount can easily be changed to accommodate this. Just remove the two screws on the back side of the mount (hex key provided), remove and rotate the connector 90 degrees and replace the screws to change the orientation of the mount. This is not mentioned in any of the descriptions that I have seen. As a result, I think this mount could be used for any Garmin device that uses the Quarter-turn mount system.

I use this mount with a Garmin 530 and its been a very solid mount. I use this on my mountain bike over some rough trails and Ive never had it come lose or fail to hold my device. Keeps the 530 in the perfect position for me.

This is a good quality mount; it is a bit more versatile in regards to mounting position then the standard out front mount. It does not accommodate the external battery for the edge 1030. I did not know that before I bought it and that is why I did not give it 5 stars.

È il secondo che compro, per installarlo sulla BIKE della compagna. L’acquisto eé dettato dal fatto che il GPS si posiziona al centro del manubrio sopra il canotto, così da rimanere protetto ulteriormente e il fatto che la staffa non é fissa, in eventuali urti il gps si possa muovere non rischiando che il braccio si spezzi o peggio ancora l’attacco del gps stesso.

Makes it easier to switch to different screens rather than fumbling around the computer buttons.
