Garmin 010-12563-02 Edge Mountain Bike Mount, Black

I just got this mount yesterday and had a chance to put it on today and I have to say how impressed I’m with the quality of this product. From the high quality of the plastic, the different size rubber gussets that comes with it (2) to accommodate multiple size bars, to the different sized allen wrenches that also are provided by Garmin in the package. I also love the two piece arm of the mount that allows a variety of mounting and positioning options for those of us who are a little picky. The only thing I can really complain about is the price. At $36 I think that’s a little high for me but at the same time added to the quality, and versatility of this product you also are giving the ability to change out the different proprietary inserts of mount depending on what product (Wahoo, Go Pro, Garmin) your using it for. So though a little pricey I would buy this product again, no-brainer.

Accurate GPS when cycling. I always get a “failed to upload” message even though the ride did upload to Strava. I like the hiking app. The Garmin isn’t accurate when hiking in the mountains, without that app.

Fits my mountain biking as expected

This is a well built mount that offers more flexibility and protection for the placement of my Garmin Explore Edge 1000 gps. I previously had the extended mount attached to my TREK Farley EX-8 fully suspension fat-bike, and didnt particularly like the vulnerability of the location in the event of a crash.

Works well and as intended.
