Gets the job done; never had an issue with my GPS bouncing out of the holder and I hit some heavy washboards at speed. The GPS did turn off sometimes; Ive no idea whether that was the cradle or the GPS.

Excellent mount. Used with RAM handlebar mount on an ATV. Very solid over some bumpy terrain. I only used the red & black wires for power

Mounted this mount on my ATV and it worked great. Stayed secure ever on the rocky trails. I did use the anti thief locking device. Keeps the GPS unit powered all day on the long rides. Others GPS unit with us on the trip were dying with low batteries before we returned.

I bought this to mount my Garmin Montana 600 on my motorcycles. Of course, shortly after mounting this on motorcycle number 2, the GPS unit started to fail. In researching a replacement Montana 600, I found it was $400 while the new Montana 700i was only $700 and I sold my in reach to cover the difference. But, the Montana 700i uses a slightly different cradle, so I had to get the new cradles for it.

Everything awesome except the little stainless bolts or nylok nuts used to attach the ball mount (sold separately) were poorly threaded and could not be fully tightened. Ended up destroying the Phillips head screw and needed a pair of vise grips to remove and replace 3 of the 4 screws.
