Was weighing up my options and decided on this watch due to battery life and the range of things it tracks. So pleased with the purchase, I have a high amount of notifications come through and use it to track Mr at the gym and pool for an hour most days and battery life is up to 2 weeks, although it would do more. The screen resolution is quite basic but does the job just fine. Best smart watch purchase ever.

Ich habe wie viele andere Benutzer auch massive Verbindungsprobleme zwischen der Garmin fenix 5 und meinem Smartphone. Ausserdem eine mangelhaftes GPS-tracking, sowie eine schlechte Plulsmessung. Wenn Garmin in der Luftfahrt auch so unterirdische Qualität liefert sollten wir alle die Köpfe einziehen! Überlegt euch ob es eine Garmin sein muss. Es gibt andere, günstigere Sportuhren, die mehr Qualität bieten.

Ive had a fenix 3. It died after about 2 years of use. I bought a replacement fenix 5x summer of 2019 - its now summer of 2022 and this watch has died as well. Very disappointed that theres no longevity to these items.

Love it. Have a small wrist love the feel. Golf and health

In the spirit of fairness, this is a great watch. It has a comprehensive suite of features and does a lot. Works exactly as advertised and does everything it does - until it doesnt. Bought my watch in May 2018, and started having issues with it in SEP 2019....just outside of Garmins one-year warranty. I noticed the battery life was diminishing substantially between charges with routine use, and then the watch just refused to take or hold a charge. The first two times I contacted Garmin they told me I needed to clean the contact points between the charging cable and the watch (thats not the issue). I finally connected with a Garmin service representative who acknowledge the issue wasnt the charging cable - and the best they could offer was for me to send them my broken watch and for $170 theyd replace it with a refurbished watch that carries a 90-day warranty. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?!?!?! When I spend almost $600 on a watch I expect it to work trouble-free for longer than 18 months. Hell, our vacuum cleaner has a 5-year warranty.

Great looking watch.. but heart rate during workout is completely wrong. Sleep monitor is not accurate. I was using Fitbit Versa and it was way more accurate than Garmin. I switched to Garmin and am totally disappointed. Hope Garmin sends and upgrade to improve heart rate readings and sleep monitor..
