Garmin Forerunner 920XT Replacement Bands (Blue/Black)

This is the second replacement band Ive bought for my husbands Garmin watch. I considered buying a non-Garmin replacement this time, because these bands last only 15 - 18 months under normal use. I bought the Garmin replacement because I like the look of it, but will probably consider going with a less expensive replacement if I need to buy another in less than 2 years.

Same as original. I like the look of the band and it functions as it should. Locks in place so it wont accidentally come off. Its comfortable. The one disappointment in the original band is that the side without the buckle broke after a little less than a year of wearing daily. The material is quite strong, but the point where the buckle pushes against the band it hooks into appears to break down the band. Possibly wearing the band one notch looser will help it last longer ... otherwise I will plan on a new band annually.

Ordered the Garmin 920xt replacement band from the seller Heart Rate Monitors USA. The order came on time with all the parts and tools necessary to replace the entire band and fixtures. Only half of the band was damaged, so replaced that half with no issues. So far, the replacement has been a perfect fit. I will update this review if it breaks on the near future.

The instruction for installing the new band is very sketchy and hard to understand. It took some thought to understand what you need to do. Once I figured it out it was easy.

I love this watch and this quick band change kit was super easy to use and ensured even a broken band wont stop my workouts with this great device.

Worked great. All parts to do the repair were included. I needed only the non-clip side - so I will keep the other half in case it also breaks.

Its only been 2 months of daily use and it already broke.
