Garmin Forerunner 920XT Replacement Bands (Blue/Black)

The item breaks within a year. Stinks because its a perfect match, works well until it breaks. Annoying to have to keep buying replacements. I have never had such an expensive watch have poor supporting components. The watch itself works great so I havent wanted to drop the $$ for the newest Garmin... And lets be real its a watch band, im not sure how hard on can be... it just sits on your wrist. The band should be able to withstand chilling on your arm.

I really like my Garmin 920XT and have only taken it off to charge it and morning weigh-ins over the couple of years I owned it. When the band broke I was bummed. But this kit did exactly what it is designed to do. The screws and shafts that attach the band to the watch face are tiny and it took a bit of time to get things lined up and attached properly, but once done, you couldnt have told the difference from the original band. Dont do what I did, though, and put the bands on the opposite from the original. I left things that way because those tiny components got the better of me. Only took a week to get used to putting it back on upside down from how I did previously. :-/

The instruction for installing the new band is very sketchy and hard to understand. It took some thought to understand what you need to do. Once I figured it out it was easy.

Amazon tells me that my last purchase of this Garmin 920XT band was July 2017. Id say that is pretty good for a watch band, considering that in 2020 alone, I swam 180 miles in the ocean, and this year Ive done another 80+, and between 2017 and 2020 I probably swam 300+ miles in the pool which is really hard on rubber and plastic. This band is currently just beginning to show signs of breaking, so I am replacing it now. I do tighten the band so its stretched when swimming, but loosen it some to be more comfortable after. Not sure what other folks with broken bands are doing, but the replacement band I got was great. My original band only lasted one year on a referb watch. So be a little gentle, and you should be just fine. I am exceptionally hard on watches, so this 920XT (watch and band) have really been amazing from a durability standpoint.

5 months of just running with it and it broke, not a durable replacement band.

Perfect. Love it. My Garmin looks brand new again. Really pleased it arrived quickly in time to attach to my Garmin at least a couple of days prior to my race. Love how it came with a screw driver and screws

Broke my old band. So when I found this set it was so easy to replace and the tools work well with other Garmin products.

The band works great if you use the watch on a regular basis you need to change the band every 18 months

It looks and feels exactly like the original so if you liked the one that comes with the watch then this is an easy choice. Installation is very easy and it comes with the tools that you need as well. Takes about 5 minutes, if even that, to install.
