Greater than one weekI was extremely nervous traveling with my 21.5 iMac but Im more than happy to report this tote did its job. I took it as a carry on (the benefit of the smaller iMac) and it fit just fine in the overhead compartment. I would not ever put it as checked luggage -- not sure the screen would come back in one piece. When youre going through security, ask them to check it manually rather than taking it out of the bag. Only other thing is the shoulder strap isnt super comfortable... get ready to build some muscle lugging this thing around. Ultimately the important thing is Im typing this on my iMac many, many miles away from where I first departed so the bag was definitely worth buying.

> 3 dayIts perfect and beyond for what i need it for. We have a dance show we are doing some mini tours. I do lights and sound. All the lights and audo is on a 27 inch imac. So now im safly able to bring the computer. But more then that. I can store a power strip dmx box pre wireless mic and when i arive it is so easy to just set it on a desk, open, pull out cables, the keyboard and mouse all ready pluged in. So amazing.

Greater than one weekFantastic case. I have the 27” and it fits my Mac safely and securely. It is huge. I’m a small girl, but I’m able to sling it over my shoulder. It’s not easy, but I can do it. It’s the safest way I’ve found to transport my iMac. I feel safe when it’s in this case. Just be aware, it is quite large.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I was looking for in a case for my iMac! My favorite thing is that you dont have to remove in order to use - as well as the convenient shoulder strap! This was a function I was really pleased with as its easier for me to keep my hands free. Its stylish enough to look professional, but casual enough for discreet travel. This case will give me peace of mind wherever I want to transport it safely. This way, most people will think its a basic piece of luggage instead of a colorful, appealing to steal desktop. :) I was very happy to find someone that provides a secure and quality solution most people dont have a need for!

18-11-2024Taking my iMac on the road was going to be a challenge…so I needed something more than just the factory box. The Gator Creative Pro Case was the right choice. Pockets for my keyboard, mouse…even a rain cover. I can use my unit right from the case! WOW!

> 3 daySo so dope! I have a 21.5in iMac and this case is literally EVERYTHING!! I have flown six times with it so far and my computer has not gotten damaged while in this case. I am still sure to have the airline place a fragile sticker on it, to prevent them throwing it around, but this has worked like a charm. The additional (removable) Velcro pads that come packaged in the case also help. Surprise #1: There are zippers on the sides of the case so that your power cable can pull through and you can plug up your computer... this means that you dont even have to take it out of the case to power it on and use it. Surprise #2: There is additional breathing space behind the computer (if your comp is sitting inside the case)... what this means is that if you have USB cables connected, mini ext hardrives, adapters, etc. they can remain plugged into the back of your computer even if you close it up and travel. I am extremely happy with this purchase. It also makes you look soo official and is a wow factor when opening it up to others. Dope dope DOPE!

> 3 dayThis seems like a perfect carrying case for newer than 2013 iMacs with the thin edge bezel and no CD drive. But Gator Case claims this fits 09 and newer iMacs. Unfortunately, they dont without user modifications. The small foam blocks that they provide to support the monitor in the case only accept thin bezel iMac displays. 2009-2012 iMacs are almost an inch thick at the base and this will cause the entire unit to rock out of place inside the bag. Id cut the foam to make it fit, but the fabric sewn around the foam block is too form-fitting to work. To top it all off, when I called Gator case, their customer service rep didnt even know that they sold these cases. Waiting for tech/customer support was non-existent, and now Im trying to determine if I should send this back and use the original iMac carrying case, or try the iLugger. As I said, it was a nice case. I wanted to use it, but trying to simply get customer support to explain how someone should pack a 2009-2012 27 iMac into this case only left to disappoint. And to top it off, the blocks do not suspend the iMac base off the bottom of the case. So if someone sets this on the floor too hard it may destroy your hinge join or cause and SSD mounted drive to come loose inside. (I wish they would have included two more foam blocks to fit the previous models).

> 3 dayThis is a good case but the compartment does dedicated for the keyboard is not protective very well! It has a hard surface and if you put your keyboard against it your keyboard may get damaged. One of my keyboards keys popped out because of the pressure to the hard surface so Im putting in the compartment right behind the monitor. I attached some with cruise so it doesnt move in a vertical position. Good minor improvements and adding some padding its a great case.

> 3 dayI love this carrying case and it truly protects my new Apple computer that I carry from home with me on the weekends to the beach or wherever. Its an expensive computer and this is a super great carrying case/tote that travels well.
