> 3 dayThe belt size on this bag are deceiving theres no way a 35 inch waist can use this bag they barely fit me and I have a 34-inch waist

> 3 dayMy only complaint is no speed square slot. Other than that a very nice belt. I will be ordering the belt and buying different pouches.

> 3 dayThese are the best electricians bags hands down. All my guys have them and we issue them to the new recruits when we hire someone. I have had plenty of other big name bags but these are definitely the best in my opinion.

> 3 dayIve been using this belt for the last 5 months. If you wear it above your hips, which I believe its the proper wear off it, it is very comfortable to wear. The bags are stiff and bulky though, making movement in tight areas difficult. The tape chain on mine broke off after the first few weeks, so if thats a feature youre interested in, know it is not that durable of a chain. Also the tape measure Coop in the front of the belt is in a bad spot, I stopped using it because my tape measure kept snagging on things and falling off the belt. Overall though, a durable and comfy belt..

Greater than one weekFor starters, I upgraded to this about a year ago. I purchased mine from the supply house on sale. It’s predecessor for me was about a 15 year old dottie/CLC belt, that was monumentally uncomfortable, so when I got this it was a definite upgrade as far as comfort goes. However I noticed IMMEDIATELY, this thing is freaking cramped and stuff as hell. The tool pouch is small and confining. It took a good 6 months for it to start to wear out enough that it wasn’t stiff and would bend and stretch around. So getting tools in and out can be difficult. The loops on the tool belt aren’t big enough for channel locks, or anything other than screwdrivers really, and I always keep two pairs of channies on me, which forced them into the front pocket, which was as I said, too cramped for them. The pockets inside the pouch are okay, as in they do a great job holding my lineman’s in the front pocket and I carry my regular strippers and romex strippers in the rear, slide in type tool pocket. But there just isn’t enough room. There’s also very limited space for bits. The small screwdriver pockets are okay for screwdrivers, tweakers, and a small crescent wrench but other than that, they’re basically useless for bits unless they’re on a 6” extension, which brings me to my next point. There is almost nowhere to carry your bits. I have to use the top compartment that’s on the waist portion of the pouch for my level, and slide the bits into that as well which is a serious pain. I have to pick bits off every time I need the level, which is often on any given day. The parts pouch is slightly better I feel, but again, there’s just not enough space for everything. It does have 4 compartments and then the hip compartment like the other side does. I use the hip for wire nuts, and the bottom two for screws and straps/staples. The big middle compartments I use for connectors for whatever I am running that day. So I guess, this is a pretty average parts pouch as far as functionality goes. I will say that I enjoy having the larger slide-in pockets inside the big parts compartments, I keep a second level in one with a couple of drill bits, paddles and a 7/8” auger bit, and it actually does great with those. The other I keep my notepad and a circuit number book in. The hugest complaint I have for the parts pouch (and I guess the tool pouch too, although I’ve never seen a tool pouch with one), is there’s nowhere to put your speed square. Which, no, you probably won’t use it daily, but when you need it, you’ve got nowhere to put it. A couple of other things I believe they missed the mark on is the hammer loop. I prefer to have the hammer loop on the back side of my parts pouch. I carry other things on my belt and adding the hammer loop to the belt cost me a lot of space, but I understand most people carry it that way, so I can’t necessarily fault them for that design. The other, is there’s nowhere to put your tape. So I have to sacrifice one of my smaller parts compartments to use for my tape, which is also a pain. The belt mounting tape measure clip does work great as long as your pouches aren’t sliding around, but they slide around so much (due to crap Velcro that wore out in about a month) that not only does it push the tape measure around on the belt, but it also allows the bags to move freely and fall off and it requires re-mounting them every single time I go to wear it. It wouldn’t be a big deal if it was just a belt without the back brace cushion, but there isn’t anything keeping them in place other than the Velcro when you aren’t wearing it and the pressure when you are wearing it. My final complaint, is with the suspenders. They suck. Flat out plain and simple bad design. The pads move around constantly, and end up on my lower chest so I am always readjusting, and when they’re on my shoulders, they’re almost equally uncomfortable due to their stiffness and rigidity. I guess my point is, if you don’t have to carry a ton of tools and parts around, this may work for you. The brace is reasonably comfortable, so that’s a pro. But if you’re like me, and not only wear your bags all day every single day, and you also like to carry as many tools as you possibly can for any eventuality, this bag isn’t worth the money. I am upgrading the Occidental Leather 5590, still awaiting it in the mail, but that bag from what my colleagues have told me is about as good as it will ever get. Good luck, it can be a good tool belt, and I may just be overly picky, but it’s not for everyone.

> 3 dayTheir size chart is off. I am a waist size 40. I have the XL belt and I had to drill holes into the leather to make it work it was so big. So I bought a size L and WHAT DO YOU KNOW!!!! It doesn’t even wrap around my waist it’s so small. My wife weighs 105lbs and it fits her decently. I won’t be purchasing Gators again. Plus they fall apart in 5 months if you use them everyday!
