Excellent source of bright white light (NOT Yellow). Cheap and durable.

These lights are worked out quite well theyre very bright but if you dont like bright four lessons dont get them theyre very appreciative to the I not very friendly and they will blind the hell out of you. Definitely not very soothing for indoor use.

I think I love these lights. I purchased the soft white version several years ago and put them in the lamps in my living room. Recently. one of those bulbs which was in a lamp attached to a timer, failed. I havent tried to figure out if the amount of hours it was on equalled the supposed 10 years if used 3 hours a day guarantee was met or not. Nevertheless, I decided if I had to change the other two bulbs Id try the daylight bulbs. I like these more for this reason - I read a lot and had to put a fold=down task light next to my chair because the soft white bulb didnt produce enough light for me to read. What I dont like about them is the cold light they produce. Soft-light is yellow. It is more welcoming. BUT, Im not going to change back. Since all the lights are the same, it will have to do. I have marked the date I put the bulb in the lamp so now Ill be able to tell how many hours the bulb is used before it fails.

I like the light output. I dont like that G.E. advertises falsely. If this states I am not a verified buyer, it is because I purchased them at a local store. They were on sale. Maybe that should have been a clue.

These bulbs are awesome and bright!
