GE Lighting LED+ Color Changing LED Light Bulbs with Remote, No App or Wi-Fi Required, A19 Standard Bulbs (2 Pack)

I like the bulb but the remote is terrible. The remote only works once or twice to change the color. I changed the battery, but a new battery did not fix the issue.

Very happy so far was easy to so far!

The bulbs do what they claim but the remote buttons wear out quickly. Its difficult to get them to function now.

I have TRIED SO MANY Color changing lights with so much disappointment. The Apps, the home kits, the WiFi settings, etc and etc is very unreliable. It seems that I was always syncing my lights to an app or a HomeKit over and over - I ended up giving it all away. This system from GE is AMAZING! You install the light bulb, and use the remote to change the color, the brightness, and the on/off. It is so easy. And there are no Apps to install, there are no HomeKit, and no router WiFi logins, and no BlueTooth distant limitations, and all of the tech headache is gone! It just works, and it works very easy. The light bulbs support many colors, as well as warm light and cool white light. The light can be dimmed, and you can also use the remove as your on/off. When you turn off the light with your remote, and then turn it back on, the previous settings are remembered. My lamp (in the photos) has a turn switch that turns very, very hard. I was thinking about throwing the lamp in the trash because my Arthritis makes it hard to turn the light on and off. But the remote has its own on and off switch, and it saves my wrist and fingers from having to turn that switch. Compared to the lightbulbs that use an app, you do not get 1 million color variations - but I do not miss that. The apps also allow many light bulbs to come on at a preset time. This one does not do that. But to be fair to GE, that feature never really worked right in those other light bulbs. If there is a downside, it is that every lightbulb will ship with its own remote and that might be why these light bulbs are so expensive. But I plan to buy more of these because they are so easy to use. In the attached photos, I am showing just a few of the color settings. This is set at full brightness. I am so happy that GE took the complexity out of the color changing lightbulbs.

GE Color changing LED Light Bulb with Remote Control is VERY easy to use. The light bulb is standard size and has a bright white light. You can easily change the color with the remote by pressing on the color desired. Additionally, no matter the color chosen, you can also choose the the brightness. This is a great feature when watching television or movies, reducing the glare on the screen. Overall, a great light bulb with a lot of features. The LED is especially desirable as it is cost saving in the end. Although I have not added more of these bulbs to my home, I am intrigued in that one remote can control multiple light bulbs.

I recently got a gaming desktop that I connected to an outlet controlled by a switch. I used to control a floor lamp with it, but since I would prefer to have the desktop hace power always, I left the switch on. This meant that the floor lamp had to be turned off from its stand which was not close to the door leading to that office room. Long story short, this light bulb is awesome. The colors are great. The remote allowed me to control it and leave the remote right near the entrance of the room. The colors are great, but the white vs warm light are even better since the warm is easier on the eyes at night. Really good purchase.

Good color and easy to use but not actually possible to control color in each bulb when installed close together. 1 remote for both bulbs. No spare remote.

Love the remote but lacks setting to simple just 4 dim settings. On the plus side its cheap and works well with out wifi a hub or anything.
