We used these for one of our antique light fixtures and are now ordering them for all of our historic fixtures. The warm glow allows the beautiful etched glass shades and cast brass designs on the restored antique fixtures to be seen unlike other bulbs that are just too harshly bright. These 25-watt replacement bulbs give a more authentic look and set the historic ambiance while still providing adequate light and LED energy efficiency and safety.

Some reviews are saying its actually 2500K, but the ones I received say 2000K on the box and it is definitely a very warm colour. Almost exactly matches the legit long filament incandescents i have. Theres not much light output, so these are good if you dont have a dimmer switch. However the size of the bulb is quite a bit smaller than the edison or globe style bulbs. Only complaint is the glass is dirty or scratched up or something. I dont know if its a defect or if its supposed to make it look more antique, but they all seem to be like that unfortunately.

My favorite night light. Forget all the “sleep” light bulbs that cost 2x more and unless dimmer isn’t installed on the lamp, are as bright as any soft light bulb. GE amber bulbs are the perfect warm light for having on at night.

Since it has such a rustic look, I wanted a warm white LED bulb to go with it. After looking over all the ones available, I chose this one. The size is just right for the shade, the color is a pleasing warm white, and since it is an LED lamp, it will probably outlast me! There were a lot of similar lights to choose form, but most of them were either too tall, or cost significantly more.

I have this bulb in two lamps so I dont have to use bright overhead lights in the evening. They are great. This bulb gives a warm-colored light that is yellower than the standard soft white and is bright enough to putter around the kitchen but dim enough to let me get sleepy. Definitely my favorite light bulb. LEDs have come a long way.
