I bought this surge protector for camping trips that my family goes on during the holidays. Weve been able to use it for some medium/larger appliances like our microwave and minifridge and it has worked with no failures so far. The design of the product is great and weve had no issues with it so far. Overall highly recommend this product to anyone who loves camping and the great outdoors!

Havent used except at our house. Detected the house wiring correctly. Seems high enough quality. Plug and socket both fit tight. Will use on camping trip shortly. Will update this review after using.

Good unit for the money

This 30amp surge protector is more than just that. It provides the user with valuable information regarding the wiring status of the electric supply. As you can see in the picture, the surge protector is stamped with the UL approved seal. The various light configurations give you real time power supply status. This is a must have, lots of parks have substandard hookups. This will analyze the circuit you connect to and provide the user with valuable information before hooking your expensive RV to the power supply. Always, I mean always, hook this surge protector to the power supply before attaching your 30amp RV plug to it. Save the electrical system on your RV, protect your investment with surge protection and power supply analysis.

This surge protector was perfect for my 30amp camper. The level of protection it provides and the power ‘diagnostic’ lights gives me peace of mind that my electrical system in the camper is safe. Great price point!
