Great value! Doesn’t get any easier than just plugging this thing in and then plugging your RV into it. It looks great and it’s heavy duty. You can’t go wrong with this.

This 30amp surge protector is more than just that. It provides the user with valuable information regarding the wiring status of the electric supply. As you can see in the picture, the surge protector is stamped with the UL approved seal. The various light configurations give you real time power supply status. This is a must have, lots of parks have substandard hookups. This will analyze the circuit you connect to and provide the user with valuable information before hooking your expensive RV to the power supply. Always, I mean always, hook this surge protector to the power supply before attaching your 30amp RV plug to it. Save the electrical system on your RV, protect your investment with surge protection and power supply analysis.

Used once last week and showed proper grounding and no over or under current. The cover fit over my RV plug so it should be resistant to rain and sprinklers but not waterproof. Its easy to see the lights through the RV window which is nice. The length is about right but for some short pedestals it may rest on the ground. It seems sturdy and well built. On something like this you may never know if it works until you encounter an electrical issue. Time will tell but it gives piece of mind.

Easy to use, just plug in, verify current condition based on color codes on unit and if all is good (green) its OK to plug in your cord. Only issue is that our cord handle does not allow the cover to close, so its not really weather proof, as advertised, but still keeps some of the rain off, as we found out the first night we tried it out.

This unit seems very well built. I especially like the 8000 Jules rating as my last one was only rated 4000 Jules. I also like the connection / circuit check it does when plugged into the main power supply. The lights are bright and easy to read.

Very good product for the price, very well made, has rain cover that’s nice, will update after several using.
