> 3 dayIn terms of the water cost and noisy aggravation of a constantly running toilet (mine is in my bedroom), This couldn’t be an easier or cheaper repair to make. If it even took me five minutes to pop off the float and slip this gasket ring into the idiot proof groove I’d be shocked. In fact I took the opportunity to scrub and disinfect everything once it was all apart. I love the fit and quality of this product and you can tell it’s better than the original gasket, which I suspect of most original equipment, is thinner, cheaper and chintzier. For under 7.00 Yankee dollars the piece of mind and peace and quiet is well worth the price. I’m gonna buy an extra one or two as I use bleach tabs in my tank that put inordinate wear and tear on gaskets.

> 3 dayI put off changing the gasket for awhile and I wish I hadn’t. It couldn’t have been easier. I watched a short video on how to remove the canister and it came right out. The whole process took less than 5 minutes

> 3 dayWe had a bathroom renovation two years ago and the new toilet had a canister flush valve. I heard the sign of a flapper valve leak, spontaneously refilling, and discovered the canister in its place. I watched a clip on YouTube that explained simple maintenance of the canister. I ordered this part and when it arrived it took just a few minutes to replace the o-ring. When I turned the water on, the spontaneous leak was gone.

> 3 dayFor me, getting the chain off of the cylinder took a while. Gasket works. I took a leap of faith that this part would fit my Kohler toilet. Whew, it did.

Greater than one weekAfter dealing with a slowly disintegrating gasket for months I finally purchased a replacement. The old one looked like it was made out of polar fleece. Apparently, the original natural rubber seal was damaged by the big clorox chlorine tabs I had put in the tank a while back. Replacing the gasket took almost five whole minutes from start to finish and now the occasional refilling on the toilet tank is gone and the physical effort to push down the flush handle went from a ridiculous number of pounds to a couple of ounces. This new seal appears to be made of a substantially more durable silicone rubber than the natural rubber of the original. The only complaint I have it that I should have replaced it a year earlier when I first noticed increased difficulty pushing down the flush handle and occasional sound of the tank refilling without reason. I bet it wasted thousands of gallons of water. Ugh! Im planning on buying extras and taping them to the underside of the both toilets lids so I dont have an excuse to delay replacing them the next time! If you have a toilet that uses this seal, it is a must-have upgrade even if you dont think you need it. Recommended without reservation.

> 3 dayI purchased this to fix a toilet that was periodically refilling throughout the day due to an insecure seal under the flush canister. Im not much of a handyman, but I took a chance on this since it was only about $5, much cheaper than calling a plumber. It turned out to be an easy fix, and the toilet has not been losing water since installing the new canister seal about a month ago.

> 3 dayThe toilet kept running and I looked on YouTube for the answer. It was this simple little ring. I tried cleaning the old one first. But there seemed nothing wrong with it; nothing to clean off of it. So purchased this and replaced the old one. It works like a charm! And it was much cheaper than having a plumber come out and do it!
