This is made well enough that you could use it for a permanent installation. It hooked up and worked perfectly.

These cables are really great quality for exterior use

I love the outer sheath that comes on these cables. Makes it much easier to coil and uncoil these cables when used with a portable solar setup. Also helps to protect the inner cables from wear and tear.
