This is made well enough that you could use it for a permanent installation. It hooked up and worked perfectly.

Polarity is reversed on all of the cables they are sending. If you look at the positive wire in the picture to this product on Amazon, you will see that the red/positive wire has a male MC4 connector on one end. These cables should not be wired like this. This company is sending us cables that are wired backwards on one end. You can clearly see it in the picture on Amazon where you go to buy these. I had two units wired in revers on one end. So I ended up cutting and soldering the best I could and then wrapped it with shrink tubing. I really hoping that cutting/soldering the cable to fix it didnt degrade the quality in any way. I heard some people on here saying they are being sent cables with the polarity reversed also. Like, cmon!........ It is literally wired wrong in the sellers picture here on Amazon. I guess it isnt false advertisement.. lmao.. but seriously.... I paid for what they said it was... and got something that could have fried my system.... be careful and look when you get yours in the mail. They are great quality and sturdy... just wired wrong.

I use this as extension cord to hook up the solar panel on my deck to the EvoFlow Delta 2 inside the house. It works well.
