The device was defective & wanted me to pay to have it returned so no stars

I returned it because apparently have to split your Wi-Fi or some thing because this thing only functions on the 2G network. So it was definitely not an easy thing to set up. More difficult than I would’ve liked so I gave up.

Very nice add on. Plus it’s not to big on your outlet. For some reason one of them. Just won’t connect to my wifi

My life is way too busy to spend a lot of time figuring out a device. I have years of experience setting up home networks, so this shouldnt have been a challenge. But I could get none of these to connect. I do have a dual band router with 2.4 and 5 GHz, so that may be the problem. But I did all the set up on the the 2.4 with no luck. The app is very clunky and always has ads for products to purchase... I tried with the Smart Life app too because one reviewer said they had success that way. Still no luck... Back they go. As far as the physical product goes, they are nice and sleek looking. But two things I did not like: the units are large enough that you cannot use 2 next to each other in an outlet. Second, the indicator light is on the side of the unit-- it would be so much more helpful for it to be on top. When it is plugged in, if the side with the light is facing away from you, its difficult to see if the light is on or flashing or whatever... I dont understand the thinking behind not putting it where it was more easily accessible.

I like the app and the ability to control it from the app. I use it on a mister and only need it to run for 20-30 seconds at a time, with this plug I can do that. Also, easy to set up a schedule on it

It took me a little while to do all the ins and outs to get this plug working, but after I did, it was worth the effort! Works great!

If you know how to change your Wifi from 5. to 2.4Ghz itll be a breeze. If you dont you may get frustrated. For me, it worked quickly and easily and so far the integration with both Alexa and Home has worked well (well Google Home always has some quirks, but I knew this already from all other connected devices already)

Tried several different ways to connect the plug to the app, will not connect

Bought two sets (8 plugs) six connected right away but two malfunctioned. The two continuously.turn off and on. Check wifi, placed in different places but the two just keep malfunctioning. Very disappointed.

I feel this item works great and is compatible with Alexa but can be challenging for someone who isn’t tech savvy. It may help to have Alexa set up prior to buying this item.
