Used multiple routers Seperatly b, g, and n in both 2.4 and 5ghz with password and no passwords just to see if I could get it to work. No luck at all. Followed instructions to the T. Both methods of linking up did nothing.

I didnt like the full access you need to give to all personal info to a powered switch to all contacts and google info, especially when no other software works with this switch. Invasive, and only mildly effective. They have access to too much info for a timer switch. It plainly says Alexa integration, but I cannot figure out how to make this work.

I returned it because apparently have to split your Wi-Fi or some thing because this thing only functions on the 2G network. So it was definitely not an easy thing to set up. More difficult than I would’ve liked so I gave up.

very easy to install and i love to control it with my phone. Very easy to download the app and use it on iphone and adroid

pros: I love gosung, there wifi plugs are easy to connect and use. My personal use is for electric control to save money when Im away from home. Cons: only problem I have had was when the power goes out, I have to re sync a few of them.

The APP does not work well, it must be unistalled and restalled again and again to work

I tried various different ways to set up and install these plugs. Install is far too complicated for what should be such a simple device. Will only work with 2.4 GHz. So if you have a router that does 5 GHz, which almost everyone does now, youll have to go into your router settings and disable the 5G to set up this device. Just seems like a lot of trouble. At the end of the day Iwas unable to get them installed even after communicating with tech support and returned them. At a substantially higher cost, I bought a lutron lamp module which was installed and working in less than 5 minutes.

Hard to get paired,took several attempts

I’ve had these plugs since March. They worked fine until the last month. Now they turn on at all times of the day and night even when I have the schedule on off mode. I recommend not buying them.

Bought two sets (8 plugs) six connected right away but two malfunctioned. The two continuously.turn off and on. Check wifi, placed in different places but the two just keep malfunctioning. Very disappointed.
