> 3 dayIve purchased two sets of these and have had problems with both sets locking up. Ive replaced the network cable and the switch, but still the module locks up jabbering. It takes a while for it to happen. It wont do it right away. Usually after about a good 24-48 hour period it will lock up and just slam the fiber with packets. This is the second set to do this. Not sure what is going on. Update: Company did contact me, tried to resolve the problem. They think its a bad cable. Raising my rating on these unless I find out otherwise.

> 3 dayI am using this device to connect my barn to my house. The barn is about 300ft from the house and I was nervous about the Ethernet limit of 330ft. This fiber to CAT converter is a low cost option that works really well, very easy to setup and use.

> 3 dayIm just using this for a short distance for lightning isolation, no where near the distance it is supposed to be able to support so I cant speak to that, however in my application these converters work well, are painless to set up, and just work.

> 3 dayProduct worked as expected and used to light up a pair multimode fiber strands. We were using in an instance where we were not allowed to deploy switches. We needed a complete physical layer solution. This fit the bill and was at the right price!
