> 24 hourIts very easy to use. But the image quality is less than I had wished for. Image looks like it has streaks running though it. Did NOT improve after cleaning it and going though the troubleshooting guide that came with it.

> 24 hourThis works not only for photographs but old news paper articles as well. The only draw back is you have to keep an eye on the photos shown on the display for signs of cleaning needed which isnt that big of a deal.

> 24 hourThe website says the scanner is Mac compatible, but I could not get 2 different iMacs to recognize the scanner. I emailed GiiNii customer support and was told to call and they would submit it as a warranty claim. No thanks. Brand new unit? Sorry. If you think the LCD screen is a helpful addition, dont count on it. The angle the screen is at makes viewing only possible if you are directly over the top of the screen. If it is a foot or so away you really cannot see the screen. In addition, the resolution of the images on the screen really isn;t good enough to let you know how the finished scan looks. I returned it and purchased a Pandigital Portable scanner. Not much more luck with that one.

> 24 hourI bought the GiiNii NuLife Full Size Photo Scanner in 2012 and scanned only about 100 photos right around that time and the scans were fine. I recently pulled the scanner off the shelf to do some more photo archiving but immediately noticed a problem with the scans. After scanning several photos and getting the same type of results, severe banding/striping, I looked in the front feed slot and saw that top of the inside looked like there were some bubbly protrusions hanging down; see the blue circled area with the two most noticeable bumps (most of that top feed area has some wavy bumps). I know this scanner is outside of the warranty period but I thought folks should know how little use its had and how poorly its performing now. Based on the customer service response from GiiNii support they claim that the problem is due to how the scanner was stored... without knowing how it was stored. It was stored properly on a shelf in a closed container, not too: hot, cold, wet or dry. Based on the poor quality and limited lifespan of the product (seriously, if you buy it, be sure to finish all the scanning you ever need to do right away), I would discourage anyone from buying this.

> 24 hourThis photo scanner did what it says. One cannot expect to have a full size scanner, but I had hundreds of pictures of my trip from Wyoming to Argentina with my 1988 Jeep Cherokee but never had time, and using a letter size scanner requires you to crop every photo. Not this, worked fine, once finished I will publish in a blog the photos of that adventure in two parts: From the Rockies to the Panama Canal, and then, Driving down the Andes.

> 24 hourSo glad I have this item. Took it with me to a family reunion and was able to scan photos and have copies. I make memory quilts and sometimes I need photos from family members without them knowing about it. So easy to use and I just loan it out, pictures get scanned, and person the quilt is being made for never knows until they get their quilt!

> 24 hourWe were needing a scanner to archive my mothers albums of family pictures. This scanner is easy and fast. I have recommended it to my friends who need to preserve their family photos.
