> 3 dayThis is a super high quality razor, which is what I expect from Gillette. Smart design is ergonomic in the hand and built to do what you do with it. Easy to change cartridges. Super close shave.

> 3 dayWhen this blade first came out, I emailed the Gillette engineers and criticized their ove rengineering and lack of just making a good, simple razor. Now, close to a year and a half later, you will have to pry it out of my shaving foam covered dead fingers! You can dry shave with this thing! With foam, just a water covered face, or dry (when you are in a hurry), it makes little difference. It works! When my first razor finally gave up the ghost, I spend a little of time, and gas mileage looking for another, until I found it on Amazon. The smoothness of the shave, the flexibility of use under different conditions, makes it an item I will not part with voluntarily! Enjoy!

> 3 dayThe original Gilette 5-blade razors were amazing. It was like shaving with a paint brush, and the blades lasted for several weeks, easily justifying the relatively high price of refills. The single Fusion5 cartridge included in this package still gives an exceptionally smooth shave, especially when used with gel creams. But after just one week of use, the blades are already beginning to pull a bit, and the lubricating strip appears to be exhausted. Pretty sure it will need replacing before the end of another week. The best price Ive seen for authentic refills (in bulk) is around $3 per cartidge. If the quality of the cartridge I was sent is representative of Fusion5, its value proposition is questionable. Fusion5 is Gillettes entry-level 5-blade razor. The handle will apparently accept any cartridge in the Fusion line. If the higher-end offerings combine the same great shave with the durability of previous models, an upgrade may be worth considering. But I will not be buying a Fusion5 refill. NOTE: Like many other reviewers, I was misled by the slippery claim that this package contains 1 Blade REFILL. The word REFILL clearly implies an additional blade, but only ONE blade is actually included. Bad marketeers. No donut.

> 3 dayAs mentioned, this blade gives you an extremely close shave. But the power handle has a bit of a hollow feel to it. By contrast, the non-power version is more heavily weighted and feels more substantial and better-balanced in your hand. Still, its a pretty solid razor that does what its supposed to. Recommended with a 4 star rating.

> 3 dayTLDR section: 1. This is the best shaver out there, and theres no turning back once you use it. 2. Since there is no turning back, you will be forced to shell out a lot on blades. 3. The ProGlide is not much of an improvement on the Fusion 5, so dont waste your money on it. Details: Like many men, I have always wanted the closest shave I can get. No stubbly face for me, even when my girlfriend thinks it is sexy. I only feel clean when I am meticulously shaved. This, however, creates its own problems. The closer you shave, and the more you shave, the harder your beard will get, and thus over the years you will need ever better shaving equipment. Also, when there are advances in shaving technology and you try the next-generation products, you can never, ever, go back to what you had previously. You start with one blade, then two, three, five, and then vibrating blades like the Fusion 5. Now I cant live without it, despite the cost of the blades. But it does give me the best shave for now, and I will stick with it until something else comes out. And that something else is not the ProGlide, which does not provide that next order of magnitude improvement that Ill need in, say, 5 years. Supposedly the blades should last 30 days, but I find myself putting new ones in every 21 days.
