I got my venus razor complimentary from Influenster a few weeks back, and I used a 5 blade for the first time ever. Let me first tell you that I am pregnant, and overweight so shaving legs and armpits have just become null and void lol. So my hair was quite long... and I used the razor, and it was like shaving hair that was hardly there! It didnt take forever, like the 3 blades do, and I was done in no time. It is so perfect! And the blades didnt wear out after the use either! My husband has used it a few times for his face, and I have used it a few more times as well! Looove it! I also love that any venus blade fits any venus razor!

I love the venus embrace. I am a frugal shopper and it takes a lot for me to continue to buy products that are a little pricey, these however are worth it! The 5 blades give a clean smooth shave and whether im shaving dry, in the shower, with lotion, cream, or nothing this gets the job done. the razors stay sharp a good long while and they take weeks to even get a hint of rust. I recommend laying down the money and treating yourself to smooth skin! fits on any venus handle so you can buy and venus variety catridges!

Best razor heads out there. Leaves my legs extremely smooth. Lasts a long time. No bumps or razor burn. Ive tried so many other brands, but Venus Embrace- the green one- is the best.

Love these razors. I subscribe monthly since I always seem to forget when Im at the store. I seem to have more sensitive skin so the moisture on the head seems to help. Tea tree oil is also really great for sensitive skin. ;)

Five blades are nice, they only compliant would be the blue strips that get a little gooey.

Im a first time shaver and I started shaving at my age of 13 yrs. old. My mom wouldnt let me shave cause she sayw its bad for your skin. But no. At first I used the disposable razors from the Target brand, but when I saw this here at Amazon, I thought it would be cool to buy the Venus razor itself at a store and just buy the refill cartridges here at Amazon and thats what I did! I bought the Venus Embrace razor at Target for only 4.99!! Good deal for a razor. I didnt buy the one with the showerpod cause it costs more plus I don want my mom to see it. So I bought the purple one. (Theres one that just come by itself) I shaved after and I didnt get any cuts, nicks or razors burns. Its the best razor ever.I use a soap for shaving not the gel. But I think Im gonna try the Satin Care. And after shaving, dont wrap this razor with tissue cause its gonna stick with the moisture strip and its not good. But all in all I love this razor. If youre a first time shaver like me, you should totally try this!! :)And this is not a razor its only refill cartridges

The razor really doesnt have any shaving lotion on the sides. It feels rough shaving with these.
