We just finished a road trip from lA, CA to OR- almost 16 hour drive. This was the perfect item for the trip-it worked on all toilets (Starbucks, truck stops, restaurants, etc). My little one loved knowing she wouldn’t fall into the toilet and that she didn’t need to be held (which is major for a independent toddler).

Perfect for traveling

We purchased this product to use when traveling and to reinforce potty training for my toddler when we are not at home. This product was very convenient to pack and uses up only a small footprint in our bag. Easy to use and folds away afterwards. The friendly look was helpful for my daughter who did not shy away from using it when the time came. It definitely helped reinforce the potty training that was already in place at home even at times when we are out and about. Overall, very happy with the purchase for our travel purposes.

I bought this to give my daughter an introduction to potty training. It worked as intended; she loved the yellow design and was always excited to sit on it... Until it pinched her little bum and drew blood. Now she won’t go near the toilet with or without this seat. I knew from reviews that this could happen, but I thought, “I’ll just be really careful.” All it takes is one second of toddler squirminess, though! In summary: It mostly worked as we wanted, and maybe your child won’t find that unlucky angle to make it attack, but be warned.

my toddler was terrified of big toilets and going out with her was always a problem but this seat has made the whole going to the bathroom process so easy! shes happy to sit on the big toilet now and even likes carrying the little bag around. so helpful!!

Moves a little, but overall is a good product. Keeps granddaughter from falling in and she is comfortable sitting on the potty.

We started putting our child on the toilet (at home) when she was ten months old, and she first went after about two weeks! Yay! Once she was regularly going 2-3 times per day at about 11 1/2 months (trust me, shes still in diapers), I ordered this item to use when traveling. NOTE: For home use, I absolutely recommend Bemis SLOW NextStep SLOW Closing Potty Seat)! Anyway, this blue cover folds up very compactly and now 13 month old is used to seeing it when I take it out of the diaper bag. A toilets hole looks like a giant chasm without this cover in place! So even if you dont plan on placing your child on a toilet until theyre 2+, know that it provides security for a very small, 17% percentile tiny tush. Even once a child is totally potty trained, I think continuing to have this on hand until theyre four or so is a small parental gesture of love. lol (Would YOU want to sit on a giant toilet??) Some of the characters face is already coming off, but whatever. Using a separate, bulky kiddie toilet just doesnt make sense, and even the free-standing ones still require space to be set up, which is never a guarantee when traveling. I recommend keeping this product in a bag of some sort, with a couple sanitizing wipes for times you have to use a less-than-sparkling toilet seat. (I use Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand and Face Wipes Singles.) Finally, I chose the color blue because a gender-neutral item is easier to resell in the end. Also, girls shouldnt always have to be associated with pink! NOTE: The six attached pictures are to show toilet seat size compared to very-common baby food product, and how I store ours before putting it in our diaper bag. Hope this helps! Happy toilet time! Great for on-the-go potty needs.

I love the idea of this product. However Ive found that it does still slip and even though it prevents my daughter from having to sit directly on a public potty, Im still weirded out by the product itself touching the public toilet. Getting it out of the bag and onto the potty isnt as quick as Id like and Ive found that most of the time Id rather use one of those disposable covers or tissue to cover the toilet seat than to get this out and use it. I do like that it makes my daughter feel more secure and not like shes going to fall into the toilet, but as I already said it does slip on me so I dont feel comfortable putting her on it and not holding onto her still. Pros and cons to this product. UPDATE: Gimars contacted me after posting my original review of 3 Stars to see what the problem was exactly with the product. Being a mom of a 2 year old potty trainer as well as a newborn, I didnt respond to their message immediately. They proceeded to message me three days in a row. When I did respond and told them my issues with the product, they responded so quickly that they were doing an update to address my issues. They then asked if I was interested in receiving one of the updated versions for further testing and review. I said that I was. When I received the new product there are now 6 silicon strips on the bottom of the product to reduce slipping as opposed to the 4 that were on the original product that I bought. While the additional two strips do help, the biggest thing is ensuring that you use the fold down clips. These were with the original product I received, but I didnt use them every time. Ill tell you that Ive bounced back and forth with this company between feeling like they were contacting me too frequently--they bordered on quite annoying--and being completely impressed with their customer service and efforts to ensure that their product is the best version it can be. Theyre certainly attentive. But as I said earlier...mom of a potty training two year old and a newborn (now 4 months old)...I dont have much time to get out and about as I did as a mom of one when I originally started using this product. I certainly feel the product was improved with their updates and wanted to update my review to reflect this. But it still isnt a 100% 5 Star product for me.

10/10! Love this for traveling. I bought toilet covers so that I could put this right on top and it’s great. I was worried at first but it’s very sturdy and good quality :)
