These scissors have significantly decreased my trimming time when working with applique. They are very sharp. I still need my super pointy tiny scissors for tight corners, but I was expecting that to be the case. I love how they are bent so I can easily trim in the hoop.

Excellent sewing tool. Keeps you from trimming underside when you are grading seams. Got one for myself years ago, and as a gift for my friend this time.

Best, sharpest scissors I have. Better even than the three pairs of scissors by Kai that I own. A class with Susan Carlson introduced me to these scissors and I am happy to vouch for them.
