I bought this as a birthday gift for my younger brother. We’ve always drooled over mechanical keyboards and have both wanted one. I didn’t realize how extensive building one could be (including soldering). I bought this as a Hail Mary and I am over the hills impressed. The settings are simple, plug and play, with easy swapping of switches. If you’re just looking for a nice, easy, intro to mechanical keyboards, this is the one.

This is a great keyboard for the price. This keyboard is perfect for getting into pc gaming. The stock switches (I went with the gateron browns) were smooth and being hot swappable is a major plus. The shell could be a little more sturdy and have more heft but overall it’s a great product for the price.

After having two mechanical boards with keys beginning to fail on me after about a year and a half of use (Ducky One and a Fission by MechanicalKeyboards.com) each I began to look for a board that I could potentially replace switches out myself without the need to solder. I dont know if a failed switch is the result of the board itself or the switch so I cant say that this would solve my past issues but I could at least come to a conclusion were that to happen again instead of sending it in to get repaired at half the cost of a new keyboard with a crappy six month guarantee on repair work. I can also replace switches to try out different types which sounds really cool. The Gateron (brown) switches it comes with are pretty good though I do prefer Cherry switches. I just feel like Cherrys have a bit more tactile feel to them which I like. Lights are pretty bright and overall build and feel are great. This is an outstanding keyboard with a lot of features for its pricepoint. I hope it lasts a long time.

When my old keyboard broke, and I needed a new mechanical keyboard, Im happy my friend reccomended this to me. The brown switches feel and sound great, never missing a keystroke. During gaming, I never feel like it misses an input, or misinputs anything. My WASD keys havent worn down faster than my other keys because of gaming either. The sound of this keyboard is amazing. Even though software isnt required, its still nice to have for lighting or macro control.

I ended up buying both the GMMK full size and the GMMK2 96% layout because I honestly didn’t know what I wanted and one would be for work and the other for my home computer.

Overall, I like this keyboard. However, it was not an inexpensive purchase. AT my purchase price of $125 US, I expected the plastic legs to be durable. Under regular use, I hit the ESCAPE key, and the left leg broke. Contacted Glorious: First, they said to check back later for a replacement. When I checked back months later, they said We are focused on other projects.
