> 24 hourI selected this model because it had overall very high reviews. Replacement went okay, considering no instructions provided in the box so you just have to watch the video, which was of poor quality as far as instructions (I watched multiple other videos to make sure I understood). Once installed, and allowed to properly secure, the screen has multiple dead zones and areas it doesn’t pick up touch very well (sometimes not at all). The iPad glass was severely shattered but 100% functional on the factory glass, so I know it wasn’t the LCD that is malfunctioning. If it’s something you mostly set to play video and leave alone, it will be…okay? But if you need to frequently click things or type, I’d suggest something of better quality.

> 24 hourThe product lives up to expectation; all loss of functionality is my doing. Last week my 2018 iPad did a flat face plant onto a hard floor. 90% of the screen was shattered into little bits. All I wanted was two more years use. Luckily there are plenty of YT videos on how to replace screens of wayward A1893s. There’s also a lot of replacement screens on Amazon. Fakespot gave this one an “A” so I rolled the dice. The glass near and around the home button was badly shattered and in the process of trying to remove it I tore the ribbon. Also I somehow damaged the lcd, maybe via the heat gun, resulting in a half inch of vertical lines up the left edge. I can probably put up with these limitations over the next couple of years. Other: the accompanying tools are almost worthless BUT they did include a small roll of that red double-sided tape and it seems to work fine. No dead spots. In fact I’m tapping out this review on the iPad in question. TL;DR: the product delivered as promised. The only limitations I faced are my own skills (my first attempt) and condition of my iPad.

> 24 hourThe install was not too bad. Their video is not very good, but I found better ones online. Unfortunately, the touchscreen is buggy. Typing is tedious because the letters kkkkeep repeating. The adhesive is also very weak. The worst part is there is a dead zone comprised of a horizontal line completely across the screen. It cant detect finger press in the zone and dragging across the zone doesnt work. UPDATE: After 2 months the screen cracked clean in half from just normal use despite being in a protective case. It is much more fragile than the original.

> 24 hourI purchased the following replacement screen for my ipad6, installation went very well but I had a dead zone strip across the middle. Seller instructed me to to the following Make sure the cables of the screen are folded and firmly stuck to the glass, then reinstall the screen connectors to ensure they are properly seated in the sockets After following these simple instructions the new screen working great, no more dead strips down the middle.
