If you sit these in drawer and use to hold sockets it will be OK. If you hang on wall to hold tools or sockets, you will be very disappointing. the magnets are weak and will not hold very well.

Upon delivery. 3 of the 6 were damaged. 2 of them the magnet was broken in a few different places. And 1 of them the hot glue failed and the magnet bar came out of the bracket. The other 3 are fine. They are strong. The 3 that I can use will make a great addition to my service cart.

It works. doesnt have enough pull power for heavier metal- but if you put two in parallel it seems to alleviate the problem. I would recommend.

I installed the Mag strips today. I piggy backed 2 x 2 and they work great. They are holding every tool that I placed on them.
