In the past, I have used the Smart Life app to install all my smart devices regardless of manufacturer. With these plugs, I had to download the Govee app because they wouldn’t install worth Smart Life. When I opened the Govee app, I could not find a category for plugs. Buried in the instructions was a step to enter the model number in the search field to find these plugs. Once that was done, I was able to proceed with the installation and the remainder of the units were easily set up. Govee appears to be mostly in the business of selling smart light bulbs. During installation, I gave the two-outlet unit a name based on where I was going to use it. I then named each outlet based on its specific use. However, I found that you cannot address the whole unit to turn both outlets on and off at the same time. You can only operate the outlets individually. Not a huge problem since I have added each unit to a group and usually turn things off and on by addressing the group.

If youve been looking into smart plugs to turn your house into a Smart Home ... then just get these ones and stop your searching! Firstly, they turn your 1 plug into 2. Already a plus right out the box. Secondly, they are so easy to use with their app that it took no time at all. Lastly, but not least, Alexa integration was a breeze!! In a few minutes I had Alexa turning on/off my fan, tv, desk lamp, even my LED strips which arent Alexa controlled. (still need the remote to change the colours but if you keep them mostly on just one its perfect) After getting these smart plugs, i looked into the brand and ended up not only buying more plugs but also light bulbs and smart LED light strips for my TV. (Now i can change the colour of the lights without using the remote.) Great products.

Love these smart switches. I have one on the TV/Nintendo switch that is only on for the hours my husband is home, and another in my boys room that turns their night lights on at bedtime and turns them off a few hours later. Super easy to set up. A little unsure of the company itself and having an app on my phone, but overall choosing convenience at this point.

They work great, and I also bought the double switch remote control. Perfect items

I purchased two of the double plugs to use for my grow lights that don’t have on/off switches or timers. This absolutely fit the bill! The Govee app is really easy to use for connecting the plugs and adding a specific plug to a specific room. It’s easy to edit anything you need to change in the app, like rooms. I have my plugs in my basement so I added “basement” and easily removed the rooms that were pre-set in the app. The most important thing for me is the timer function in the Automation tab that will turn my plugs on and off every day at the scheduled time. These are things I needed from my Amazon plug but couldn’t get it to work. I would definitely purchase more Govee products in the future.

Took me a while (senior) to get hooked up to Alexa and still having to say turn o or off outlet #1 or outlet #2. Instead of location. Work in process. Very small print in instructions, would like a bigger font

Ive tried nearly a dozen different affordable smart outlet options. Govee smart plugs are very quickly becoming my favorite. I do tend to prefer their single smart plugs though. While I do love the single smart plugs, I also really love these dual smart plugs since I live in an older house and some rooms dont have many outlets. The dual smart plug acts as a splitter and lets me independently control whatever I plug in. Its incredibly handy and doubles my outlet space in rooms where Im lucky to have a single outlet normally. Before I got the Govee single smart plugs I was using these on small extension cords in my tropical plant cabinets. Theyre really nice because they dont overlap other outlets even on small power strips. They are wide though, so it would depend on the orientation of the plugs in your power strip. The Govee outlets are some of the easiest smart plugs Ive ever set up. Ive not come across issues where they dont pair or arent detectable like I have with other brands. They also seem to reconnect themselves pretty well when my power goes out or if I unplug them. I havent had to re-pair them or reset them. They work really well with my Amazon Alexa devices AND with the Apple Home features. I previously used these specific outlets to automatically control fans and grow lights in my tropical plant cabinets. These plants are really sensitive to changes so having consistent light, heat, humidity, and general conditions are really important. I use a modified Ikea cabinet and I use these Govee outlets with my Amazon Alexa routines to control nearly everything. This also gives me the ability to turn them on or off as needed by just asking Alexa. Im not sure if these outlets are meant for humid environments though. I worked around that by placing a piece of tape over the side buttons and over any unused portion of the outlet. Specifically the ground hole of the plug used for my fans. I havent had any issues with humidity while doing this. I will also add that because I hide the cables and plugs in my cabinet Im never using them manually. The tape may mess with the buttons if youre using them manually on a regular basis. I also really like Govee in general because they provide affordable options for smart devices. Ive had really positive experiences with their Wifi Smart Bulbs, Single Smart Plug, LED light strips, and Flow Plus LED Light Bars. Because of this Im also considering replacing my current humidifiers and thermometer/hygrometers with the Govee options! The Govee app in general has been incredibly reliable and easy to navigate. Its super simple to connect to other apps and Im generally a huge fan.

This is a great item that works good. Easy to use. I just wish they would’ve been smart enough to put the outlets further apart so you can plug two items into it. The outlets are right in the middle of the cube.

Automated several things with these, including fish tank light. These are awesome little outlet plugs and add 2 extra plugs (when 2 installed on single gang outlet).

Have not had any trouble with these smart plugs losing connection with my network. Have worked great! Thanks
