good range for wi fi

So far so good. But not sure about wifi connectivity (and I dont use Alexa). Will know more when/after trying to connect from 1200 miles. (while on trip). If all goes well, will upgrade to 5 star.

Had a problem connecting with Alexa after approximately 6 months of use with my second purchase. I contacted Govee through their mobile app and even though it was not their issue they explained the problem and I was back up and running. Been using their products for 2 years now and even though they are 1 year warranty they all are still working great. Highly recommend, easy setup, did I mention? FANTASTIC SERVICE

I have configured 3 of the 4 devices I ordered and each is working well on my home network via Google Home Assistant (Home Mini devices). I have not yet used the scheduling feature, but plan to use it next year during the holidays to put decorative lights on a schedule. The size is convenient and it does not block the other outlet socket. For the price this is a very good device.

I was wanting just a easy install with simple features on the app. It feels like extra steps are required. It’s easy to turn off and on but setting up a repeating time isn’t as simple as setting an alarm on your phone. It’s repeating wake up time is detailed, no doubt, that’s what I mean by feels like extra steps are needed. Also adds and a community feature. I should’ve done my homework but I just needed as simple as off and on with an alarm. There’s just a lot of extra stuff.

Has bluetooth so i can use it to turn on my wi-fi

Thus far, these smart plugs have been a reliable solution for remote control and outlet timing. The WiFi and Bluetooth have proven to offer solid performance. The phone app is better than most, and hasnt crashed, hung up or done other unexpected things. Device setup worked remarkably smoothly. The UI is okay, but could use a little bit of polishing to make it better and easier to navigate. One nice feature is while these plugs are meant to be controlled over a WiFi connection, they will seamlessly switch over to Bluetooth control if your phone is able to connect to them. If your WiFi or phone data connection happens to be down, you can still control them if you are within Bluetooth range. If you need to remotely control an outlet, or are just looking for a higher-tech wall timer, these are certainly worth consideration.
