Grave Before Shave™ Bay Rum Beard Balm (4 oz)

I like this balm. Nothing really tames my wiry beard but this does a decent job. I really like that its double the amount of product compared to other products. It smells great if that is a concern of yours. I will use this product from now on.

GBS is by far, the best beard balm on the market. But the Bay Rum is a bit oily compared to the Cigar Blend. And the smell is not as nice as the vanilla scent from the Cigar Blend. It has a soap smell, which is a clean smell, just soapy. I wish the product description included an accurate scent description, too. I would like to try some of the other GBS tins, but now Im not so sure. Ill just stick with the Grave Before Shave Cigar Blend.

Best smelling Grave Before Shave Ive tried yet. Ive used a few, including the Gentlemans Blend (which is also awesome). Its a less subtle aroma than some of their other fragrances, not overpowering, but more distinct than, say, the Pine Balm. It conditions and leaves a healthy sheen to your beard. Styling is limited, its not a wax and wont give a real hold but it does tame the hairs and keep your face from looking alike to a scared hedgehog - unless youre going for that, which it is capable of helping too. The tins and the artwork are a great compliment to the already great product.

Best beard balm ever!

Bought this for my son and he loves it. The scent is clean and fresh.

This is the first beard balm that I have used. it is very light but has better hold than the oil I have used while still making my beard soft and fragrant. I love the smell but it can be a bit powerful at first if you are not used to fragrances in your beard. If you are trying for the first time I would not recommend putting it on if you plan on eating in the next couple of hours until you get used to the smell. the first time I put it on then went to eat the smell of the food and this balm was too much and I had to wash it out. I thought I was not going to like it after that but I gave it a second chance and I am VERY glad that I did!
