Grave Before Shave™ Bay Rum Beard Balm (4 oz)

This balm is amazing. Keeps my manly chin chains in check. Will make your beard silkier than Harry Connick, Jr., wrestling a mink in a swimming pool of KY jelly. Yes, its that good. Will make you feel like building something out of bricks, fighting wild animals, or opening jelly jars with one hand for your kids lunch. The balm lasts all day, like a cheap whiskey hangover, but with less headache and a better scent. I just wish they sold this stuff in caulk gun cartridges. The tin is nice for keeping my liberated teeth since I started playing beer league hockey.

Great beard balm. Good control and great smell, but not overbearing at all. You wont get sick of the scent. Makes your beard manageable and shiny.

Best smelling Grave Before Shave Ive tried yet. Ive used a few, including the Gentlemans Blend (which is also awesome). Its a less subtle aroma than some of their other fragrances, not overpowering, but more distinct than, say, the Pine Balm. It conditions and leaves a healthy sheen to your beard. Styling is limited, its not a wax and wont give a real hold but it does tame the hairs and keep your face from looking alike to a scared hedgehog - unless youre going for that, which it is capable of helping too. The tins and the artwork are a great compliment to the already great product.

Smells good but Just didnt have that bay rum traditional scent.

Good quantity and helps control the beard. Didnt get a positive female response to the smell, but, the smell dies down after a bit anyway.

This is the first beard balm that I have used. it is very light but has better hold than the oil I have used while still making my beard soft and fragrant. I love the smell but it can be a bit powerful at first if you are not used to fragrances in your beard. If you are trying for the first time I would not recommend putting it on if you plan on eating in the next couple of hours until you get used to the smell. the first time I put it on then went to eat the smell of the food and this balm was too much and I had to wash it out. I thought I was not going to like it after that but I gave it a second chance and I am VERY glad that I did!

As a long time bearded gentleman, I am pretty happy with this stuff. Softens and conditions my beard and has a classic, timeless scent that is not too overpowering. Also, unlike a lot of other balms, this is sold in 4oz tins (as opposed to the usual 2oz), so its longer lasting which works for me since my beard is rather long. All in all, great product, cant wait to try their other scents.

I use this in combination with the Grave before Shave Beard Oil every day. This 4oz container seems to last around 2 months and recently replaced my 2oz container. The 4oz container seems to have chunkier solids and needs to be melted down in the palm but nevertheless doesnt affect the awesomeness of the product.
