I really only started trying to grow a beard now that Im in my late 40s. Ive tried a few different products, but right now Grave Before Shave is my favorite. I love the smell. The oil isnt too oily, the balm is nice and firm (and unlike another product Im using right now, doesnt melt or liquefy.) It really moisturizes my beard, makes it manageable, and especially in the early days, helps reduce that new-beard itch. I highly recommend this.

I like it, smells kind of sweet though. My girlfriend says its pungent and too intense when she gets close enough for a whiff of it, but I got used to it pretty quickly.

Overall its an excellent product, as with all the grave before shave products the beard oil comes from natural ingredients. Ive used many different brands of beard oils and balms and I believe that Grave Before Shave is one of the best when it comes to bang for you buck. While they are not the best product Ive ever used they certainly are great performers and generally a fair bit cheaper than their competitors. I chose this product because I am huge fan of tobacco scents and this blend well with many of the different colognes that I wear Herod, Tobacco Vanille, London, Pure Havane. When it comes to scent profile the Vanilla plays a central role and some support spices give it a very gourmand sweet scent. The tobacco notes are present; however, I wouldnt compare tobacco to a cigar the scent is akin to an aromatic pipe tobacco. Overall this a pleasant scent on the masculine but sweet end of the spectrum. If you want a GBS beard oil with vanilla tones and a bit more of a bite try their gentleman. Blend

This stuff is awesome. Ive tried GBS Bay Rum, Gentlemens Blend, and Viking before buying this and I can honestly say that Cigar Blend is my favorite. It smells like Christmas, man. A smoky, vanilla scent that just makes you smile. Grave Before Shave, youve done it again!

This stuff smells like the winds of heaven. I buy it for my husband every chance I get. He loves it, too.

Love this product. My face gets itchy when I start to grow the beard out, and the oil really conditions and soothes my skin. The balm helps keep the hairs in place, while its growing out it gets bushy and looks like the old guy on the Gortons fish stick box. This is the scent for me, too. Ive tried a couple GBS items, and they are all good, but this is my favorite. Great line of products!

Amazing scent which is coming my favorite company, I liked it. Used with TF tobacco vanilla every day. The balm has wonderful hold all the day. This is the best.
