Greater Than Games Spirit Island Branch & Claw Expansion Board Game

An excellent expansion to an already great game. The base game is complicated but good for learning all the systems at play. This introduced a ton of new mechanics and events that make the gameplay less predictable. A great way to improve upon the core game.

A nice expansion for a great game. Easy to add. Strife is a great addition.

While I agree with others that the Event cards may add too much randomness (and at times they slow the game down, reading through all the various portions of the card), for the $, this adds some nice variety and a good number of new Power cards.

Package arrived in great shape, on time! Anyone serious about board game fun, must add this to the library.

High quality product. This extension doesnt bring new maps but it does bring new mechanics to the game, improving it. Besides the two new spirits use the new mechanics of the game.

Spirit island is extremely well done. Its more complicated than most board games, especially co-op ones, but is well worth it. The mechanisms work very well and some are rather unique. While it may seem too hard at first, stay with it and youll see that though things may sometimes seem hopeless, gaining a little more power can change the tides completely. Between different boards, spirits (roles), adversaries, and more, this game has lots of variation to make replayability extremely strong. The expansion makes the game even more fun and greatly increases the replayability and variety of each game.

Excellent co-op game for serious gamers. Not beginner friendly.

Fantastic coop game with more replay value than many board games. Simultaneous gameplay makes it hard to let one person control the direction of the game. The presentation is well thought out and i highly recommend it. It can seem like alot at first but once you figure it out it’s very enjoyable.
