> 3 dayI support anything Spirit Island. Buy this if you want 2 new Spirits and more events/scenarios. The only downside is that one of the Spirits is by far the worst designed on out of all of them (including the promo Spirits). Just my opinion, I dont think Ill every play the Claw again. But love the direction it tried to go in. Hopefully they print more expansions!

> 3 dayAdds a ton of variety to an already meaty experience. Easy to remove too if you wanna teach the base game separate.

> 3 dayIn my opinion this expansion is a must once you figure out the overall strategy for the core spirit island. After playing a while with the core it is a lot easier to win because you know what is going to happen next. This expansion brings much more excitement to the game with added randomness. The thing about these random event cards is that they arent enough to completely lose a game, but enough to have to change your strategy sometimes. I believe I read somewhere that this expansion was supposed to be part of the core, but greater than games just split up part of the game. This is a must buy for anyone who loves spirit island.

Greater than one weekI enjoy it a lot. The game is a challenge, but the hardest part seems to be to find enough players to play it often enough.

> 3 dayHigh quality product. This extension doesnt bring new maps but it does bring new mechanics to the game, improving it. Besides the two new spirits use the new mechanics of the game.

> 3 dayOften times expansions add more mechanics that just make the game more complicated without necessarily having a corresponding increase to enjoyment. No so here!

17-04-2025I absolutely love this game. The expansion is good and a lot of fun. I do think it would work better with 3-4 players, rather than 2, as some of the powers are slow to start. There are a couple of typos, but they arent major and the pieces are high quality.
