This is supposed to be for a window that cranks IN. Mine cranks OUT (I have never seen windows crank in). I made it work and it works GREAT!!! You just have to remember to close the window before it rains, so the rain doesnt pool on the top.

originally i bought the 300 cm bc my son said it was small casement window but after it was measured, realized needed to 400 cm one so quickly ordered the longer one and returned the smaller one. see photo of how it works with outward swinging casement window. can’t really comment yet on durability but so far works well enough to keep bugs out and cool A/C in

Does what it’s supposed to do, no issues at all

I liked the seal, seems to be efficient . The Velcro holds good make sure to clean the area before you apply the stick Velcro. It def works

Applying the seal was a nice and smooth process, however, the zip ties to keep it closed are too short to wrap around your exhaust tube. Not only that, the zipper is too small to loop it through.

lf you have a casement window that pushes out when you open it, then it’s basically the opposite of what they’re telling you. I think the picture I have attached is how they want you to seal the window with the narrow pointy side on the bottom of window and top, and the larger, wider opening with zipper in the middle for the hose but I’m not sure. I did it another way and it worked better but I had fabric left over.

Its definitely easy to install and an economical product to fix the window issue with portable ACs, but the drawback is that it will not stop the hot air coming inside the room. Once the AC is turned ON its difficult to check if its really closing the gap and blocking the hot air seeping in, but take off the portable AC unit and close the zips properly leaving the window on a cold night. Your room will be lot cooler than the remaining part of the house.

Definitely useful to install

I have crank windows(that open outwards) in my new apartment so it has been very hard to use my portable AC in my bedroom. Using this window seal has been great so that I can keep the cold air in and warm air outside during use. I did have some trouble putting it up myself though since I am short and the window is above my regular reach. I had to have someone else help me install it. No other issues so far though.
