> 3 dayI was so relieved to find this so I could use a portable AC with my stupid crank windows. This thing is really simple to use and gets the job done. Only complaint is that the Velcro isn’t super sticky: I had to reinforce it with duct tape in several places. Not the end of the world though and still highly recommend if you need to make a portable Ac work in stupid windows

> 3 dayApplying the seal was a nice and smooth process, however, the zip ties to keep it closed are too short to wrap around your exhaust tube. Not only that, the zipper is too small to loop it through.

> 3 dayI got one of those Dalek air conditioners, but it had no venting tubing and the plastic hose connector was broken. Epoxy and new parts made it work, but it was a trick to vent it out a tiny pantry window. I really expected this kit to be a mess to work with, but it was easy. It doesnt stay put quite as well as I had hoped, but that may be because it was hard to get rid of all the kitchen grease at the edges of the window frame.

Greater than one weekNot as described. Doesn’t show in pictures that it tapers which didn’t work for my larger opening even though under the size they mention. Velcro tape already peeling off a very clean flat surface. Junk really.

> 3 daylf you have a casement window that pushes out when you open it, then it’s basically the opposite of what they’re telling you. I think the picture I have attached is how they want you to seal the window with the narrow pointy side on the bottom of window and top, and the larger, wider opening with zipper in the middle for the hose but I’m not sure. I did it another way and it worked better but I had fabric left over.

> 3 dayI liked the seal, seems to be efficient . The Velcro holds good make sure to clean the area before you apply the stick Velcro. It def works

> 3 dayI have crank windows in my house and I absolutely hate them, but theres no changing the windows. It doesnt get hot save for a handful of days through the year so nobody has A/C. We got an A/C unit and also got this for the vent out the window. It was NOT easy to get the Velcro on there. It also was damaging to the pain around the window because the glue on the Velcro is no joke strong. The strength of that Velcro is worthy of a star. Once I had the Velcro I attached the seal and the A/C unit vent attached. It was a pretty big disappointment. Having the window open with this shield attached just let ALL the heat in letting any cool air the A/C unit produced go out. Maybe my window is just too big but it was much smaller than the dimensions of this seal. The material of this is just too thin and would be better if it had some insulation to it.

Greater than one weekOther than the cheap glue to hold the velcro onto the window this product works well and is very easy to install. My house was built in 1961 and almost all the windows are original and kind of a weird design but I had no problem with the install. However, where the AC hose vents out the velcro popped off from the weight. The glue really doesnt hold up all that well. Otherwise a useful product which pretty much solved my AC dilemma.
