Great deal, good wire. I purchased the 10awg and I am totally satisfied.

Good wire

This appears to be pure copper wire or as they market it as OFC or Oxygen Free Copper. It is not Copper Coated Aluminum or CCA which is inferior to OFC. With that said I must condem the reviewers that gave less than a 5 star review because of packing, presentation or their inability easily strip the insulation. The spool my wire came wound around was broken to bits by the time I received the package. I dont care the wire is awesome and I will soon be throwing the empty spool in the trash. Yes the sturdy insulation is more difficult to strip then some other wire but I would think that would be a positive thing. You might want to consider buying a better wire stripper because mine works just fine on this insulation. If you want the more expensive and softer silicone insulated wire that is easier to strip than that is what you should buy instead of this. The wire I received was also true 10 awg and not something less than what was advertised as another reviewer implied.

This wire feels too light to be copper, and it also feels harder to cut than copper. The lightness and cutting difficulty made me think this wire was CCA, but it doesnt quite look like aluminum in the core after cutting it. The resistance measured very low with a multimeter, and I dont have an easy way to prove this wire to be OFC/CCA, so take my observations as observations, not conclusions. The insulation is tough, but not very flexible (feels like 1/4 PVC plumbing) and doesnt hold up to soldering heat well.

This works as advertised. Full copper wire. :)

The red and black wires are solid copper wire, nicely joined together, but possible to separate the red and black without damage to either one. Looks to be a good product. Used for an extension of the wires on my electric trolling motor.

This is a quality product. Flexible but strong. Tough insulation. Solders and crimps well. I will be ordering more.
