Solar wire. I did it search for solar wire selected one of the options and it’s just like low-voltage power wire not sure why? I returned it. I needed UV-sheathed solar panel cable.

I purchased this product and began installing it in winter. I can only stress that it was extremely cold outside during installation, like at most 10f. So yeah it was really cold. Anyway Im not sure if it was the temperature it was exposed to during my trying to bend and snake it into position or a lack of material quality or both but the insulation cracked in several places exposing the copper strands. It states it is for automotive use so I have only to assume it can withstand some movement at extreme temperatures. Anyway I sadly had to return it and purchase something else. Will this happen to you? Maybe IDK. It seemed to behave well enough inside at room temperature.

Separated with ease, test results as described. Works great. Now to work on getting some better lug crimpers.

I bought this to extend the power cable for a Flomax RV waste pump. It was just what I was looking for. Very good quality.

Using this wire on roof of skoolie build for solar connections. Wire seems well constructed with double insulation layers. We will see how well it holds up under the brutal southwest US sun. Think it will be fine.

Overall I am happy with purchase...met my expectations...better than other suppliers on Amazon. Good copper.Would buy again.

This appears to be pure copper wire or as they market it as OFC or Oxygen Free Copper. It is not Copper Coated Aluminum or CCA which is inferior to OFC. With that said I must condem the reviewers that gave less than a 5 star review because of packing, presentation or their inability easily strip the insulation. The spool my wire came wound around was broken to bits by the time I received the package. I dont care the wire is awesome and I will soon be throwing the empty spool in the trash. Yes the sturdy insulation is more difficult to strip then some other wire but I would think that would be a positive thing. You might want to consider buying a better wire stripper because mine works just fine on this insulation. If you want the more expensive and softer silicone insulated wire that is easier to strip than that is what you should buy instead of this. The wire I received was also true 10 awg and not something less than what was advertised as another reviewer implied.
