After seeing a few supposed deals on speaker wire, this came on my radar. The reviews looked good. I trimmed off one end with a good wire cutter and took a good look with a magnifier. Yes, it is real copper. I checked its size with a 30 amp (12 gauge) Powerpole terminal, and it fits exactly. The strands are just right for going in without fighting.

dont think they use the same wiring standards. orders 12awg but the thickness and number of coopper wire looks and performs as my 16awg cable. do not recommend.
