> 3 dayIts pretty good stuff. It is NOT tinned and its heavy enough to be 100% copper. I believe its a PVC jacket

> 3 dayTHis wire is full copper which can be a bit hard to find these days. Most are copper clad speaker wire. Be sure you understand what you are buying. Thick insulation and appears to be good quality.

> 3 dayGauge seems about right. The wire copper, has good outer shield and is quite flexible.

> 3 dayThis zip-cord has the typical PVC insulation in red/black color but also has an additional clear jacket covering the PVC. That clear jacket (not sure what material it is made out of) is slippery and abrasion resistant. There are pros and cons to that. The obvious advantage is that this cable pulls easy through raceways or conduits and even pulling it around a sharp corner is unlikely to damage the cable. The downside to that extra layer of insulation is that it also resists any attempts to strip the insulation to terminate the zip cord.
