02-12-2024I added a dozen LED lights to my pontoon boat. This spool had enough length to complete the job. It was easy to strip and splice.

> 3 dayItem arrived quickly as per normal with amazon. Wire is not copper, it is copper clad aluminum, my fault I guess for not reading the fine print, and I should have known better just from the price alone.

> 3 dayI bought this wire to use for a project that requires soldering. A ton of flux is needed and if I have to remove the wire I have to replace it due to some black oxidation that no amount of flux will remove. Youve pretty much got one shot to make a good solder connection otherwise you have to either cut and strip the wire or replace it. The insulation also melts more quickly and at a lower temp than other wires Ive worked with. Will not buy again and do not recommend for anyone that will be doing a lot of soldering with the wire

> 3 dayIm not a speaker fanatic who thinks he can hear differences between wires, but theres no doubt that woofers, especially subs, draw more current than tweeters and mids. Most hook-up wire I use inside speaker boxes is cheap 20-gauge stuff, which works fine for normal listening levels, considering it typically only runs about a foot. But a couple of my more recent projects use, in one case, a pair of large woofers, and in the second, a big powered subwoofer. Anything heavier would be too big to solder into the little holes on crossover circuit boards, but I dont want to lose any power to my woofers, which are pretty inefficient to begin with. So this wire is about perfect. Black are red are the only colors needed for audio purposes, so I dont understand the multi-colored stuff marketed to speaker builders.

> 3 dayThis is just what I needed and at a reasonable price. I will use this wire to internally wire led yard lights. Wire appears flexable and should work fine for my application.
