> 3 dayThis zip cord has honest - to - size, stranded (>30 strands) copper wire conductors. With a caliper, I measure a diameter of 0.102, and the standard nominal diameter for 12 awg is 0.104. Insulation looks good, too. Walls are certainly thick enough for low - voltage use, and even for 120VAC use, though this is not the recommended application. Outstanding value at this price!

> 3 dayThis wire was perfect for hooking up my solar panels on my sailboat. Its also very flexible so I think it would work for tying someone up...you know...if you needed to do that.

> 3 dayThis wire is very flexible with 67 strands (I did not count them), and the wire accepts solder very easily. The insulation starts to melt just a little at 350 Deg C, and shrinks down the wire (thats why only 4 stars) but after it cools it is fine. The wire specification is 12 AWG, 99.9% OFC, but I measured it at 0.102 which is 10 AWG. The important thing for me is that it is copper, and I need it to carry 12 A for a short distance and it will work fine for my application.

Greater than one weekThere are too many uses for these wires. I used it to wire my trailer, connect speakers and many other projects. Will buy 10G and 12G wires in the future. These can be soldered or clamp, and these wires dont oxidize like cheaper copper plated wires

> 3 dayA little stiff, but nice thick wire. Had to strip some to fit the receptacle.

> 3 dayI used this speaker wire to rewire my boat. Lots of different size wires on my boat, biggest being 10 gauge, so I yanked them all out and replaced them all with this 10 gauge speaker wire. I dont have a chassis ground, so all negative gets ran back to my fuse box, so having the 2 wires attached helped out a lot. I used non insulated Connectors and heat shrinked them. The wire is pure copper, and true 10 gauge.

> 3 dayPros Its copper and true spec or bigger Cons Its stiff I got shorted 5ft. I only got around 20ft lol. I folded it in half twice and it was just below my shoulder my shoulder (Im 510). I was wiring 4x subs needing around 5-6ft for each. On the 3rd run I only had like 1ft to cut off. Had to use a leftover old cca wire for my last run.
