> 3 dayGreat mug with insulation. Holds coffee very well. Also holds other liquids and small solids. Weighs about the same as an unladen swallow.

> 3 dayThis is my go to cup for backpacking. Its super lightweight. The inside cup slides out and has measuring cup lines on it so you can measure out your water for those dehydrated backpacking meals. The other cover is nice so that you dont burn yourself when drinking coffee. I use to use a metal Yeti mug which did insulate better but for the weight difference this cup keeps my coffee hot long enough for me to enjoy and not miss carrying around the extra weight.

> 3 dayBought these for backpacking. Like the weight and the volume marking on the side. However, I was very disappointed that it did not keep my coffee hot for very long at all. Not very effective insulation, especially on a cold morning in the mountains.

> 3 dayThis is a great luxury item for ultra light backpacking, particularly for a coffee drinker like me. The manufacturer has a couple brewing solutions that pair with it too. Very light weight and keeps stuff warm. Word of caution. This is not your old Sierra cup, you can’t hang outside your pack as insert cup will fall off. My insert cup, ironically, is now somewhere in Sierra. No matter, it was replaced. Now I have a rubber band between the insert and the liner.

> 3 dayI was super excited to get this cup for backpacking. I really dislike the collapsible cups for hot drinks. I havent used the cup yet and think it will work fine for what I want. I am disappointed the measurements smeared off after just a handwriting. If thats super important to you this cup is not for you.

> 3 dayUsed the rubber band trick to keep the outer slip from falling off (put a rubber band around the cup inside the fabric and it doesnt slip off!). Light, held up well, useful, lid keeps things warm and makes it easy to shake up drink powder into water. Good looking. Everyone in my group wanted one!

> 3 daySuper simple and lightweight. This is now my go to coffee/drink cup when camping. Its small and comfortable in the hand, does a great job keeping my coffee hot in the morning or a hot chocolate in the evening (I had both during a campout this past weekend). Its sturdy and has a wide enough base to stay put... unless youre clumsy like I was. But it keeps its contents inside even when knocked over (I tested that accidentally this weekend too). It cleans up easily. One tip... I heard somewhere that the cup can slide easily out of the sleeve. Knowing that I was careful not to carabiner it to the outside of my pack, but I had also heard that placing a rubberband on the cup can provide enough friction to prevent it from easily sliding out. I plan on doing that... but just havent yet.

> 3 dayThis goes great with my GSI brand cook pot which is 20oz size, and fits nicely with the sleeve. I am focusing on that for my review because thats why I bought this is that it ls light weight, and can nest.

> 3 dayI have used these mugs on multiple long-term backpacking trips. Some of my GSI mugs probably have 200 miles of trail use behind them and weeks of accumulated use. The snap-in top works well keeping contents warm and safe from bugs, which sometimes seem bent on suicide in my noodles or hot chocolate. I especially appreciate the collapsible hand loop, which improves the packability of this mug. The ability to remove the plastic cup from the stiff fabric insulation for cleaning is an additional plus.
