Guess How Much I Love You Activity Toy for Babies

This is a perfect baby showet hift!! Everyone at the shower loved the vloth book.

I should have read the Amazon reviews before purchasing and the product description should be more descriptive of what you are getting. I was expecting the full book and, even if it werent the full story, I expected the end of the story - the most meaningful part - to be part of it, but it is not. Also, I am not a parent so wasnt aware that people would want all the pages to have a crinkling sound, but the crinkling is so loud, it is completely distracting. Maybe the child would like it, but I cant imagine that it wouldnt drive the parent crazy. I purchased this as part of a baby shower gift, but did not give it. Very disappointing.

Very disappointed. I am giving this as a gift and the music inside the book does not play.

This set was a gift for my new granddaughter. The book is a favorite for both me and the new parents and will be treasured for a long time to come.

Not what I though it would be

My 5-month-old loves the crinkle sound of the pages and she likes to chew on the rubbery binder – this is a toy that can occupy her attention for a long time. But the string with the heart-shaped plastic teether makes me nervous – it seems like this could be very dangerous for a baby?! I wont let her play with it by herself on the ground because shes rolling and Im worried that it could get wrapped around her neck. It has come in handy for being able to attach it to her bouncy chair or stroller, but Im thinking about just cutting the string off so that theres zero risk of an accident. The string could also come off the plastic teether very easily – its just tied on and very loosely glued. So 1 star off for that, and another star off for the fact that our press here button also never worked. I got the book on sale and it wasnt much money, so Im ok with my baby just enjoying it for the crinkle factor. We also have The Tiny Seed crinkle book by Eric Carle, which does not have a string, just a plastic ring to clip onto a stroller, so if youre just looking to get only one crinkle book, I would recommend that one over this one. Anyone whos giving this item a bad review because its not much of a story should understand that none of these crinkle books are and thats not really the point of them – its more just a sensory toy than a book. If you want to read a book to your child or read a story with them once they start to learn to read, then you should buy the full board book version.

I like this small, crinkly book and so does my daughter. I have two issues with it, though. 1 - The string came untied from the little teether after being played with only a short time. The string is so wide and slippery that I cant imagine it will stay tied for long. 2 - It attracts lint, pet hair, and other grossness from the floor like you would not believe. I find myself trying to hide this from my daughter because I know she will be chewing on some cat hair. Washing it in the washing machine did not even get it off. However, it does still say I love you! after being put through the washing machine. That earned it an extra star!

Got this for my best friends niece and Im happy to say her niece loves it!!! She especially enjoys the crinkling of the pages and it became her entertainment on the long eight hour car rides.
