> 3 dayI ordered this puppet for my 1 year old grand-daughters birthday as her mom said she liked Elmo. I always liked puppets and thought they were great fun for kids to play with, but this one has a mouth that is hard for adult fingers to get into so it is hard to work the mouth. It fits an adult hand okay and the arms are easy to manipulate but they couldve made the mouth better I think. It is soft and grand-daughter liked it as a stuffed toy.

> 3 dayThis is definitely a budget Elmo. Bought this to make videos where Elmo sings along to songs by Lil Shordie Scott. I read a bunch of reviews that either said the mouth was too stiff to move, or that the puppet had been updated to one that was easier to use. Unfortunately, the one I got is incredibly hard to make the mouth open and close. Youd have to have a very strong, enduring thumb to make it move for more than a few minutes. The mouth is lined with felt on the outside, and is made of a mildly flexible, stiff plastic which is exposed on the inside where you put your hand. It has a smooth texture that feels fine to use. The red fabric on the outside is very soft. Elmo also doesnt really have a neck, his body is sort of a tube continuing off his head. It gets the job done for some short 15-30 sec clips at a low price point!

Greater than one weekI bought this and another hand puppet with the lofty hopes of being able to entertain my 1-year-old grandson with them, at some point. As they arrived, they look and feel like you would expect, accurately depicting the character. The problem lies inside the mouth of the puppets. For whatever reason, they are made with a huge amount of resistance in the mouth (where your hand goes, to make it talk). Im a grown man, and had a huge amount of difficulty getting the mouth to look open. There was a HUGE amount of resistance here. I would think that if something were designed to be used as a puppet, they would test it a bit to make sure you could open and close the mouth easily. If this were a stuffed animal, it would be almost a full score. It looks like the character. However, as a puppet, I was very disappointed.

> 3 daySuper cute little puppet. My kid loves it. I initially bought it to incorporate it when teaching or introducing a new subject., however, its basically involved in all aspects of play. Definitely keeps the attention from swaying back to something like the iPad. Its pretty durable as well. I ve washed it twice in the washer machine.

> 3 dayChildren loved it especially when the Cooky Monster -- chased them and pinched their toes The only reason I didnt mark it as five star was making Cooky Monsters mouth move was somewhat difficult. Not impossible -- but difficult when attempting to pinch toes. Have put the two Muppet away -- to be reintroduced next Xmas. Watching the little girls scream in delight as the Cooky Monster attempted to pinched the little girls toes -- was well worth the money.

> 3 dayDecent puppet. Very soft and well constructed. Fits an adult hand well but the mouth is very stiff and hard to articulate.
