GUS Special Pill Fob, Made in USA, Stainless Steel Keychain Pill Holder, Nitro Bottle Holder

I was originally looking for a smaller fob to carry a few nitroglycerin pills around my neck. I then came to understand the nitro pills degrade and need to be replaced in 5-6 months once the original bottle has been opened. This fob is large enough to carry the entire unopened bottle of pills thereby extending the life of the pills assuming I dont need to open the bottle. With an added small carabiner, it clips to a belt loop nicely. My package arrived a day or two before it was expected which was also a plus.

This product is extremely well made. It has a heft that makes it clear that it cannot be bent, as it the case with aluminum containers. The threading is well polished and signifies excellent workmanship. I use it for my nitroglycerin bottle and it fits precisely. The only thing to note is that when I put the bottom of the bottle in first, the screw top of the bottle opened when I unscrewed the GUS. When I put the bottle in with the cap first, everything was perfect.

After reading countless reviews I selected the GUS Special pill fob for my nitro pills. It was thoughtfully designed to carry your unopened glass vial your nitro medication ( .4 MG / 25 Tablet ) is dispensed in from your pharmacist. BE AWARE NITRO MEDICATION ( AS PER LABEL ON GLASS VIAL ) IS TO BE KEPT IN UNOPENED VIAL UNTIL NEEDED. Great job GUS ! Quality product made in the U.S.A !

Great quality pill box. Perfect size to hold my mothers bottle of nitro. Its bigger than it looks on the page because theres nothing for scale. The dimensions given are for the interior of the box (it does say that) so that you can check if it will fit your bottle, the exterior dimensions are more like 2 inches tall by 1 inch in diameter. The size doesnt really matter to me as my mother carries it in her purse. Its more important that the whole bottle fits inside because once you open the bottle the pills last 6 months or less.

Always nice to find a made in the USA product that has that good old American quality that is so rare these days. This fob is a prime example of that kind of quality. I found that my nitro bottle fit inside just right. As another reviewer mentioned, if you put it in with the screw top up, the top can get stuck in the top of the fob lid. No problem, turn the bottle upside down and viola, fits great. Its a little bigger than I thought it might be, but Im already used to it on my keychain in just a few days. My doctors office told me to get something like this, not only to have nitro at the ready, but also because EMTs are trained to look for things like this on your keychain. Thats life and death information and nice to know.
