This didn’t work at all. It’s difficult to get on, as one area keeps popping up since the top of the Haakaa is so soft. Also EVERY time the Haakaa gets knocked over (which happens alot because the base is so small and why I bought the lid) the lid just pops right off, spilling everything. I don’t understand the positive reviews at all. The only thing it’s good for is keeping stuff out of it. Which doesn’t really help since it still gets spilled anyway half the time.

This should come standard with every HaaKaa. It is a soft pliable silicone with a removable piece for cleaning that also stays in place when you need it to (no leaks). I am extremely happy with this purchase and after months of use I would highly recommend it!

I will start by saying that the haakaa is probably the most useful breastfeeding-related item I have bought. It pains me to think how much milk I wasted before I started collecting the let-down of the opposite breast with haakaa while breastfeeding my baby. But, the haakaa, needs a lid. That is of course, if you want to avoid spilling your valuable breastmilk, because it will happen, and often. Trust me, I am not a clumsy person, but these handy devices are nearly invisible and not very steady. The first time I accidentally nocked down a haakaa full of my babys precious dinner, I literally cried over spilled milk, unconsolably. The lid fits perfectly, and you can store the milk in the covered haakaa in the fridge and also warm it up in a bottle warmer.

I was spilling my let down a lot so this helps. But I get nervous about the cover being silicone for some reason…overall, glad to have gotten the cover!

Great for early days when over supply of milk but dont want to chain yourself to electric pump especially in middle of night. Used throughout breastfeed Ing adventures.

It was difficult for me to spend the money on this lid, but I collect milk during overnight feedings and needed it. Im impressed with how well it seals. Ive accidentally knocked my haaka over in the dark a few times, and havent noticed any spills.

Great idea to have one of these so you don’t spill that precious breast milk!

Word to the wise - get the pump with the lid. Better deal that way! I bought the lid and pump separately because I didn’t think the lid was necessary until the pump fell over full of milk.
