I hate that I had to pay for this separately, I think it needs to come with each of the haakaas, but I guess it does what it’s advertised to do. Something to note is that if you shake the milk in it or tilt it with the lid on and then you open it, some milk will stay in the edges and will drip out which is annoying

I have cats and as most cats do, LOVE TO KNOCK THINGS OVER. They also love the smell of my milk (kitten instinct), so this cal as saved me milk so many times I can’t even count; and I’ve tried everything to keep it out of their reach. Perfect for middle of the night half asleep time when you finally get the haakaa off your boob after fall asleep and are too tired to go to the kitchen. Just slap the lid on and you are good to go! Super easy to clean too!

I had hoped this would be more snug than the flower stopper, which I also have. The suction isnt very strong, but i have knocked over a haaka with it and it didnt not leak. (There wasnt much in it, tho) I prefer the flower stopper, its easier with one hand

I love my haaka and now with the lid I don’t cry over spilled milk. Having a sleeping baby on you can make it difficult to set down the haaka filled with milk. The lid allows you the peace of mind that your milk with be safely stored until transferred to a storage bag or until used for later.

I had way too many spills with my Haakaa and would cry. Breastfeeding mommies you know the feeling. My friend actually recommended this to me after I called her crying lol. She also recommended the silicone strap that goes around the Haakaa Incase it pops off during a session. When I tell you immediately I would put this top on once done. I mean IMMEDIATELY couldn’t take anymore risk. It fits perfectly and doesn’t easily slip off I like that it has a little part that you can pour from as well. Easy to clean, when not in use I of course just left it on my Haakaa. This should be on mommies registry and wishlist because it’s a milk saver and the silicone strap that goes around it!

I absolutely loved using my Haakaa to catch let downs on the opposite breast, but was discouraged to continue use when the Haakaa continuously toppled over, spilling my milk. As you can see, I have the original Haakaa which does not have the suction base. One I bought this cover, spills were a thing of the past! I am now very confident when using my Haakaa knowing that every drop of my liquid gold is secured. This is a must have for those mamas who have cried over spilled milk. Cry no more and buy this cover! It will certainly ease your mind while placing your Haakaa down. I have also purchased the silicone strap, pictured above, for added protection while collecting milk.

If you’re ordering this it’s because you’ve probably spilled your hakaa too many freakin times. If it works for you keep on keepin on and get the lid. Mine caused pain AND I spilled all the time, especially the ones that don’t have the base thingy. Personally I think the hakaa is overhyped because my pump hurts less, gets more out and doesn’t spill.
